It is with great pleasure that we write in support of the concept of the European Solar Challenge. The Europeans have long been at the forefront of automotive technology, skills development and innovative implementation, and solarcar events which embrace these concepts transcend the notion of competitive motorsport to arrive at a whole new level of intellectual endeavour. One day we hope to collaborate on a trans Europa event (2014), but for now we applaud the organisers for bringing some of the worlds best solar electric vehicles to the attention of the European public and media. We are sorry we cannot be with you at this time but certainly wish you a safe and successful event.
