This morning, the organizing committee of the 24 hours iLumen European Solar Challenge received a special video message from FIA chairman Jean Todt.
“Let me first of all explain my regrets for not being at the iESC in person. In particular I would like to thank chairman Frans-Joseph Joosten for putting together this unique event. The iESC is getting stronger and stronger by each edition with a growing number of contestants from all over the world. I hope this success will continue in the future.”
“Since the beginning, motorsport has been an arena for innovation, promoting and generating development for competitive advantage. As the regulating body of motorsport, the FIA has a proud history of bringing innovations from track to road, especially when it leads to great efficiency and sustainable mobility for all. This continues today with many efficiency focused developments in several FIA championships, including Formula E and the World Endurance Championships.”
