Flemish Energy Minister Tommelein gives starting signal iESC

From September 23 to 25 the 24 hours iLumen European Solar Challenge will take place at Circuit Zolder in Belgium. The iESC is the very first 24 hour endurance race for solar cars. About ten teams will challenge each other and the legendary Tesla S model on the race track of Circuit Zolder.

After Chris Selwood (pioneer and driving force behind the famous World Solar Challenge) confirmed his presence at the iESC, iLumen is proud to announce another very important visitor.  Flemish Energy Minister Bart Tommelein will, barring unexpected ministerial duties, give the starting signal for the 24 hours iLumen European Solar Challenge at Saturday, September 24 at the clock of 1:00 pm.
